We are pleased to open our library, The Hive, on breaks, at lunchtime and after-school, where pupils can choose from thousands of books to take home and enjoy for two weeks before returning or re-booking. The library is staffed by friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff members who can help to choose the right book for you.

The Hive is buzzing with possibilities, with our student librarians on hand to support pupils, whether that be through book recommendations, facilitating clubs or helping with enquiries.

Pupils from across the school cohort are able to sign up to becoming a Librarian or a Reading Ambassador by contacting their form tutors.

 

The wide range of books available include page-turners, young adult fiction, graphic novels and comic books to the First News children’s newspaper and the National Geographic. We stock a wide range of non-fiction, from books about animals and our planet to the intricacies of ballet, any child will find something to enjoy at The Hive.

 

Our display shelves feature regular highlights – come and find a cozy corner to pick up an Autumnal favourite, or find the trending fiction through our free TikTok bookshop.
