The Local Governing Body plays a central role in the life and leadership of the school. Acting on behalf of the Trustees, the Local Governing Body provides strategic oversight and challenge, and supports the headteacher and senior leadership team in ensuring high standards of educational provision, pupil outcomes, and wellbeing.

 

Governors meet regularly throughout the academic year. In addition, designated link governors take responsibility for specific areas of focus, such as safeguarding, ensuring effective oversight and accountability on behalf of the governing body.
