Children who are described as international new arrivals (INA) are those who have migrated from overseas for a variety of reasons including economic immigration, to study in England or to seek asylum.
Here at Smithills we are blessed that over 10% of our cohort are INA, adding to the beautifully diverse community of students that already make up our Smithills family.
INA students are welcomed and supported throughout their academic journey here at Smithills, and receive regular, personalised, intervention sessions with our superb INA team.
