Alongside sports day, we celebrated culture, making links with the World Cup. Our students competed for their allocated countries through a special overall team points competition. This provided a fantastic opportunity to celebrate different cultures, communities and the power of sport to bring people together.
After all points from across the year groups were added together, the overall country standings were:
🥇 1st Place - Form A's (England)
🥈 2nd Place - Form I's (Croatia)
🥉 3rd Place - Form B's (Senegal)
Congratulations to all forms for contributing to such a closely contested competition!
One of the highlights of the day was the surprise staff fun race. Staff members bravely squeezed into inflatable costumes and entertained students with a hilarious race featuring a chicken, a pig, a sumo wrestler and a polar bear! The laughter, cheering and support from students created a fantastic atmosphere and perfectly captured the spirit of the day.
Huge congratulations to every athlete who competed and gave their best effort. We would also like to extend a massive thank you to all staff who supported the event and to our outstanding Sports Leaders, whose hard work, organisation and leadership helped the day run smoothly from start to finish. Your contribution was invaluable and greatly appreciated.

A big thank you from Mrs Townsend and the PE Team for making this year's Sports Day such an amazing success!
