A Fantastic Open Evening at Smithills School!
What an evening! Our latest Open Evening was, without doubt, our best attended yet, and the feedback from visitors was tremendous.

Again and again, we heard how warm and welcoming Smithills School feels, with visitors commenting on the friendliness and approachability of our staff and the many smiling faces they encountered throughout the evening.
Behind the scenes, an enormous amount of work went into making the evening such a success — from the support of the Trust, to the planning, organisation and promotion, as well as all the effort that went into making our school look and feel so fantastic.
Our departments did an incredible job showcasing what we do at Smithills, with fantastic displays, engaging activities and, of course, some particularly impressive dressing up!

It was also wonderful to see so many colleagues giving up their time to come in, help and support the event. Your commitment and enthusiasm made a huge difference.
Most importantly, the evening was a brilliant demonstration of the warmth, pride and sense of community that makes Smithills School such a special place.
A huge thank you to everyone who played a part — staff, colleagues, the Trust and everyone who came along to visit us.
