COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PARTY
Today, Smithills School invited 80 friends and family members of the local community to enjoy some Christmas festivities in the school hall.
The annual community Christmas party began with a welcome drink on arrival, served by Smithills School staff and pupils while enjoying festive music. The afternoon progressed with performances from our Elite dance group and live snippets of last week’s Christmas music concert. Mrs Cannon (Business Manager), who coordinated the event, said, “I love overseeing this event every year... this event is truly unique and makes me feel so proud to be a member of the Smithills family.” Guests were served a 3-course meal by staff and pupils and left with some Smithills goodies upon their departure.
