STEM

Last week we had lots of fun in lessons celebrating Science week (11th – 15th March).

The theme this year was ‘Time’ and we saw KS3 science classes taking part in a range of different activities from making their own Newton’s cradles, to designing and completing marble run challenges, making their own fossils and sand timers!  Furthermore, in computer science, all KS3 students took part in a STEM competition by designing a lab coat based on the theme ‘Going Digital’.  Other subjects were also linking their lessons to ‘Time’ and discussing a range of careers that are linked to STEM.

The students had a great time!
