Dear Parents & Carers

Happy new year!  I do hope you all had a restful time with friends and family over the Christmas holidays. We’re now back at school and looking forward to the rest of the academic year with great excitement. We had some considerable successes in the Autumn term with, amongst other things, attendance at its highest ever level at Smithills (and significantly above the Government’s benchmark standard). This is an area where you can continue to support us by ensuring that your son or daughter comes to school on every possible occasion.
