SALARY: Grade D Points 6 to 11 £25,989 to £28,142 PA PRO RATA Actual Salary at point 6 approx £17,282

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified candidate to join our team of Teaching Assistants in a successful and forward thinking department. You will work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching &/or senior staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques.
You will have the ability to support the teacher in planning, delivering and evaluating learning activities to ensure effective teaching and learning and the ability to give feedback in a constructive manner. You will be able to contribute to positive relationships with pupils and adults through communication and interaction and provide effective support for colleagues through differentiation and a proactive approach in and out of a classroom setting.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified candidate to work with the SENCO and teaching staff to develop best practice for SEN children. You will work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching &/or senior staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all pupils. You will assess the needs of pupils through individually tailored key performance indicators and ensure practices are in place so pupils with SEND in mainstream classes make progress.
You will have the ability to work effectively within a team environment, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and the ability to build effective working relationships with all pupils and colleagues. You will demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher and increase achievement of those with SEND.

WORKING PATTERN: 33 hrs per week Term Time Only Plus 5 Days
CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary 1 Year Contract with the possibility of a Permanent Position
SALARY: Grade E pt 11-17 £28,142 - £31,022 pro rata Actual Salary at pt 11 £21,500
CLOSING DATE: 9.00am on Friday 5th December 2025
INTERVIEW DATE: To be confirmed
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified candidate to work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of the lead teaching assistant for INA/EAL and/or senior staff to enable the acquisition of the English language and access to learning for all pupils. You will develop and implement language acquisition programmes to meet the needs of groups of INA/EAL pupils including a synthetic phonics programme.
You will have the ability to work effectively within a team environment, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and the ability to build effective working relationships with all pupils and colleagues. You will demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher and increase achievement of INA/EAL pupils.
