સ્મિથિલ્સ સ્કૂલમાં આપનું સ્વાગત છે, એક સુખી અને સફળ સમુદાય જ્યાં દરેક વિદ્યાર્થીને એક વ્યક્તિ તરીકે ઓળખવામાં આવે છે અને જ્યાં અમે બધાને તેમની સંભવિતતા સુધી પહોંચવાનું લક્ષ્ય રાખીએ છીએ. અમે માનીએ છીએ કે દરેક બાળકમાં પ્રતિભા હોય છે અને તેઓ સફળતાનો અનુભવ કરી શકે છે કારણ કે તેઓ અમે પ્રદાન કરીએ છીએ તે સહાયક અને કાળજીભર્યા વાતાવરણ દ્વારા યુવાન વયસ્કોમાં વિકાસ પામે છે.

શાળા એ પ્રથમ અને અગ્રણી શિક્ષણનું સ્થળ છે જ્યાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓ સલામત અનુભવે છે અને તેમની શૈક્ષણિક યાત્રાનો આનંદ માણે છે.
અમે વર્ગખંડમાં અને બહાર બંને રીતે કરીએ છીએ તે દરેક વસ્તુના કેન્દ્રમાં શિક્ષણ છે અને સ્મિથિલ્સ સ્કૂલમાં ઘણી બધી તકો સાથે અમને લાગે છે કે તમારું બાળક અહીં અમારી સાથે ખીલશે.
સ્મિથિલ્સ સ્કૂલમાં અમે સખત મહેનત, સારી રીતભાત અને સ્વ-શિસ્તના પરંપરાગત મૂલ્યોનો આદર કરીએ છીએ, જ્યારે અમારા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને સતત બદલાતી દુનિયામાં તેમના ભાવિ જીવન માટે પણ તૈયાર કરીએ છીએ. અમે એક સમર્પિત અને સારી રીતે લાયક સ્ટાફથી લાભ મેળવીએ છીએ જે દરેક વ્યક્તિ માટે 21મી સદીના શિક્ષણને જીવંત બનાવે છે.
તો શા માટે તમારા બાળક માટે સ્મિથિલ્સ સ્કૂલમાં સ્થાન શોધો?
અમને અમારા કૌટુંબિક વાતાવરણ પર ગર્વ છે, હકીકત એ છે કે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ સુરક્ષિત અનુભવે છે અને તેમની સંભાળ રાખે છે અને અમારા વિદ્યાર્થીઓનું સર્વેક્ષણ કરીને, અમે જાણીએ છીએ કે તેઓ સતત સમર્થન અનુભવે છે. એક માતાપિતા તરીકે, તમે હવે તમારા બાળક માટે કઈ શાળા શ્રેષ્ઠ છે તે અંગેના ખૂબ જ મહત્વપૂર્ણ નિર્ણયનો સામનો કરી રહ્યા છો. જ્યારે અમે અમારા પ્રોસ્પેક્ટસમાં તમને જોઈતી આ બધી માહિતીનો સમાવેશ કરવાનો પ્રયાસ કરીએ છીએ, ત્યારે અમે દૃઢપણે માનીએ છીએ કે આ શાળા તમારા બાળક માટે યોગ્ય છે કે નહીં તે ફક્ત દસ્તાવેજીકરણ અથવા ઓપન ઇવનિંગથી તમે શોધી શકતા નથી. અમારી શાળા જે ઓફર કરે છે તેનો સંપૂર્ણ અનુભવ કરવાનો અને તેની પ્રશંસા કરવાનો એક જ રસ્તો છે અને તે છે શાળાના સામાન્ય દિવસ દરમિયાન મુલાકાત લેવી. તેથી હું તમને મુલાકાત ગોઠવવા અથવા તમારી પાસેના કોઈપણ વધુ પ્રશ્નોના જવાબ આપવા માટે અમારો સંપર્ક કરવા આમંત્રણ આપું છું.
કૃપા કરીને ટ્રાન્સફર અથવા પ્રવેશના કોઈપણ પાસા અંગે અમારો સંપર્ક કરવામાં અચકાશો નહીં. હું આગામી વર્ષોમાં તમારી અને તમારા બાળક સાથે કામ કરવા માટે આતુર છું.

Dear Year Six child,
I am writing to you from Smithills School to tell you about the transition from year 6 to 7 and my experience when I first came. Firstly, when you first come in on your first day, you will go into the assembly hall where you will be told what form you are in and where to sit. When everything is settled down you will have an assembly led by Miss Dewse (the headteacher) and Mrs Scholefield (Your director of learning). Once the assembly has finished, you will be taken by your form tutor to your form room which will be where you come to every morning. One of the things I was worried about was getting lost but once you know the routine you will get used to it. For example, say you have a lesson in W21, the W stands for west block, which is in the upper building, the 2 means the second floor and the 1 means the first classroom. So, it is the first classroom on the second floor in the west block. Another thing that is important is that on Monday mornings, you do NOT go to your form room, you go to the assembly hall for assembly apart from during the exam season where your assembly will be in the Sports hall. Something you can look forward to are extra curriculum clubs and the last week when it is a fun week, where you go on inflatables, trips and have a sports day.
