Were here to talk about something really important called protected characteristics. These are parts of who we are that the law says must be respected. In the UK, this law is called the Equality Act 2010. It helps make sure everyone is treated fairly, both in school and in the wider world.

This year, International Mother Language Day 2026 lands on the 21st February, and to celebrate, our pupils have showcased just a tiny fraction of mother languages that our pupils use on a daily basis.

November is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month. To raise awareness of this important issue and help to break the stigma, two of our amazing Be Kind to My Mind champions have volunteered to share their experiences of mental health and what this month means to them.

We couldn't have done this without the support of colleges, providers, employers, parents, and Governors. The pupils truly shone, with excellent interview techniques, and they all looked amazing, dressed professionally for their interview, and a high standard of CVs was presented in their Record of Achievements.
