We celebrated our class of 2025 yesterday at Bolton Wanderers Official in true Smithills fashion, with some amazing entrances and beautiful attires. YOU MADE US ALL FEEL SO PROUD. The evening was spent with some dancing, pictures from our very own photo-booth, some very tasty food and awards. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our Class of 2025 the very best in the future.

Check out this amazing video of our Year 10 students enjoying a technique class taught by Miss Shields, a current Salford University Dance student and former pupil of Smithills School. She worked with them on various skills needed as a dancer in the industry, such as the importance of warming up and cooling down, understanding the value of technique and the skill of learning choreography.

International Day of Dance is celebrated every year on April 29. Smithills School continually radiates creativity and passion, particularly through its exceptional dance programme.

Students completed a day long workshop with Adam Corbally, runner up from the Apprentice. Adam has always been keen to fundraise, climbed Kilimanjaro, ran London marathon, walked on hot coals and raised money for 30 defibrillator’s for his home town Adams Enterprise Days are all about helping pupils reach for the stars.
