Science
Course Outline
In Year 7 students follow a balanced Science course with topics in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. They are placed in one of four sets initially based on how well they performed in the KS2 test.
Students continue to develop the five key ideas within science that they started at KS2. Each topic is linked to one or a mixture of key ideas. The five key ideas are Cells, Interdependence, Particles, Forces and Energy.
AssessmentInternal Assessment:
Students are assessed on their effort in class, attainment in homework and behaviour by the science teacher.
